BASEL-EXPERT is a vendor neutral certification program that has been designed to prove that professionals in the Banking Sector have the knowledge and practical working experience to implement and support Basel II Compliance.

Applicants must satisfactorily comply with the minimum requirements for training and work experience for this grade of certification. The reachable grade after certification depends on relevant experience.

TRAINING

Applicants must have passed the BASEL-CERT examination. This is achieved by either attending the Instructor led course or by Self preparation.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Must have over one (1) years experience in Banking, IT Security or any Compliance environment (preferably Basel). The experience must have been gained in the immediate year prior to application

FEES (2008/2009)

Initial application fee: US$ 295.00

Three yearly renewal fee: US$ 150.00
